Voyage Planning and Execution
This five (5) hour underway class will start by developing the plan for a local voyage using both conventional plotting and electronic techniques. Once the courses and support information are developed, the class will execute the voyage, using the plan. The voyage will include a brief stop at the destination port of Rockport, MA (docking subject to space available). The demonstration and use of all electronic navigation instruments will include Radar, Chartplotters, Auto Pilot and Sonar.
This class is meant to teach the mariner the steps in planning a voyage to destinations they have not visited before.
Tuition: $249.00 - Min: 3 students; Max: 6 students

Night Cruising Classes
Cruising at night is spectacular, but often intimidating. This 5 hour underway class will show the mariner how to use the available night time "aids to navigation" as well as the other tools to determine position and safe course info. After some instruction, the class will be brought to an unknown location and asked to establish their position and develop a safe course back to home harbor w/o electronics.
Tuition: $249.00 - Min: 3 students; Max: 6 students
